I have both. I took at shot at getting the bracket right. The Hot Shot is OK, but I took in on an 81 mile ride Saturday, and stopped a few times to walk behind the bike and view the light from different angles. In the day and the night I was disappointed compared to the Micro on the same ride last week. The more to the side I got the worse it gets. The Micro is really not bad from a 90 degree side view. I got mine for $27, on Ebay. I forget how much shipping was. Not excessive.
