2manybikes! Like the above picture shows, I've decided to remove the light mount. It pretty much means I'm going to order a Hot Shot Micro, but I'd still appreciate any comparison results you'd be able to give me between the regular Hot Shot and the Micro.
One photo has something wrong with it. But here is the Micro photographed on a bright sunny day, with a cheap camera phone. I'm might get another micro to carry as a spare. The sl has a little more throw exactly in the middle of the beam, but the micro is so close it does not matter, especially in the dark. This is not a very good photo, the highest red thing is a reflector, below is the light.
Including the bracket the SL is about 10 grams heavier.
