My 16yo niece had her car in the shop recently. Could she ride her bike the 2 miles to school? NO WAY! "DAAAAAAAD I NEED A RIDE !" On the other hand, my friend's 14yo son (sailor, soccer demon) rides his bike everywhere ... and he is FIT!
