65cm is not heat treated so they may even do it for him. I have 130mm hubs on mine but the option to go wider was a plus.

I went through the same thing. If the Soma DC came in a 66cm like the DC disk I would have gone in that direction. I hated the old gold too, but thay now come in black. I still prefer canti's though.

I am happy with the BMC and it a great bike to ride. Sturdy yet still light enough to take on the road.

I have a 95.5 pbh and some time wish for an additional cm or two just so I don't have so much seat post showing.
