Ask seller to measure from floor to top of top tube (stand-over height). If your daughter can clear that while off the seat, should be OK. Otherwise, could be uncomfortable getting on, off, or at a stop. Unlike the newer Trek aluminums, this one doesn't appear to have a slanted top tube. I'd peg the bike to be a 54cm one myself, but I still agree with FastJake it looks too big for someone 5' 4".
