I have two 'cheap' helmets that wear - well - like 'helmets'. A couple of years ago I splurged on a Giro Ionos (a model now discontinued) that fits so well and comfortable it is not usual to forget I even have on when getting off the bike for a lunch stop. Truly one of 'best' biking safety investments I have made. I've even thought about buying another one to put into storage before they totally disappear from the marketplace!
