Well I got a puncture on my rear tyre Sunday which was annoying but I took my bike to the LBS to get it fixed. getting the bike in the car was a pain so I invested in an external bike rack for it which helps a lot.

More importantly the guys at the LBS put the bike back together properly, unlike the big box sports store where I last took it for repairs. What difference that made! it feels like a different bike altogether My Average speed on my daily ride jumped up 3 kph with my top speed going from 16kph to 22kph and is a joy to ride now. Suddenly riding mid distances (20k ish) looks a lot less daunting.
