I just managed to buy my grail shoes, Sidi Genius Carbon Five, they were half price at Competitive Cyclist last month. I had been warned that if I used Sidi shoes I would be spoiled, they were right. I still have both earlier pairs, an old Adidas model and some Specialized Road Comp, both got pretty worn, and the toes of them are deeply gouged out, they aren't a stiff as they once were, also. I need to clear out some old stuff, the crash totaled Specialized Prospero helmet, and an old Bell helmet, got tossed since they were shot and were just taking up storage space.
