I once tried wearing my paddle jacket while bicycling. Very waterproof... and a very bad idea.

One of the key things that you need on the bicycle is good air circulation, otherwise you get more wet from the inside than the outside.

One can never tell, but that see-through material just doesn't look very durable, although it may be very water proof. Perhaps one-time-use?
