I have a Lume light. The mounting systems aren't very flexible but the wide beam pattern is perfect. The handlebar mount won't fit oversized handlebars and it doesn't pivot sideways at all. The helmet mount won't work with helmets with a rib running through the center. It's only stable with helmets with a vent running down the center. ie., the helmet mount needs to rest on and wrap around two ribs in order to be stable.

The battery mount won't work with some frames either. If you have the brake wires exposed you could have problems with the mount interfering with brake operation.

But all that aside, the Lume light is a work of art. It's a 10W HID which is plenty of light for me. Hasn't taken a hit yet or been ridden in the rain either so I don't know about that part.
