what's $50 or so among friends?

i recently sold a fully overhauled one (an '88 312) with a ding in the top tube for $350, and its paint scheme wasn't as cool.

why not be proud of his bike? i'm proud of mine too.
In post 5, a matching 54cm same model is listed for $100+ less and it looks to be in great shape.

What $100 among friends, I guess.

I am all for just sucking it up and paying the extra $25 or $40 for a bike that will be used a lot if there is a unique reason(excellent condition, odd size, etc). But for a 54cm bike?- that's a dime a dozen and mid level bikes are then typically priced accordingly.

Be proud of the bike you are selling, sure, but also be aware that other options just as good are priced lower.
