The GoPro and Virb are boxy. I like the sleekness of the Contour Roam.
The Virb Basic and Elite are about the same size, shape and weight as the Contour Roam, more torpedo-like with the front just larger than the lens. I prefer those Virbs and the Contour because they look like they belong on a bike, unlike the boxy GoPro.
