Regarding comment 2 , looser shorts possibly, like mountain bike shorts that have a padded liner? (I wear these to stay in character while riding my Big Dummy cargo bike because standard shorts look silly on it). They don't flap around as much as you might think either.

I sure hope someone doesn't pipe in with the "pictures or it didn't happen" comment.
