Friday, May 1, was my first bicycle commute of the year. I used to commute by bike all the time when my office was closer to home, but 17 miles each way is just tougher to manage. I did ride Friday though, and after work I rode downtown and met some friends and we did a small group ride. By the time I got home I'd done 58 miles. That's a pretty hardcore commute I guess.
