Vintage Guy With Vintage Cannondales To Restore

Greetings from north central Florida.

Wife and I had been avid road cyclists, each owning a nice Colnago; then in the mid 1980s moved onto Cannondales with thick aluminum frame upright bikes. In the early '90s stopped riding. Since then, our Biked have been sitting on flat tires, and neglected. OMG! I know.

Now retired. With new available time, I want to restore our Cannondales. And ride, of course.

The aluminum is pitted. Metal is rusty. Tires rotted. Searching the Internet on bicycle restoration I came across this forum. Looking for advice.
