Just received my tool lately - and I'm noting the dimensions for my XTR M975 free hub body.

The tool's OD is 29.12mm (thereabouts) however that prevents the tool from being inserted deeper so that the two prongs can engage the one-piece bearing race/cone - ID of the narrowest section of the free hub body where the tool has to go through, is 28.91mm. i guess i may have to bring out some files to reduce the size of the tool...
