I include personal stuff when it's relevant to the sale and/or gives the bike "personality," but never omit hard details in favor of that stuff.
Sold my Tempo last week, and very much mentioned that it was my #1 rider and at the top of the preferential treatment list during its time with me. Lets the buyer know that it well taken care of and continuously maintained.
