I avoid the extra blather and just stick to the facts without getting overly technical. If it's a bike with eyelets, I'll point out that it can fit fenders/racks to serve as a great commuter or errand bike since that a draw in my student/commuter community. In general, I find hyperbole in CL ads to be a turn-off. People often ask why I'm selling the bike, and I always tell the truth: I have too many bikes and I need more room in my garage.
