Don't get me wrong Tom. (I removed the term boorish from my post, that isn't quite right) ...he was a brilliant man. No doubt about it.

But I think when one has placed oneself in the position of teaching, as I think he certainly did, it is incumbent upon you to explain, instead of just declare. Jobst did an awful lot of declaring.
