I consider Focus to be a 'mysterious brand'. There is no mention in the catalog of city or location of the Focus company or factory. All I could see is 'Made in Japan' There a no US distributors either listed. No contact phone numbers. Nothing.

I received this catalog when I bought a complete Focus bike. I bought the bike mainly for the Superbe parts and I will be putting the 52 cm frame on Ebay sometime in the near future.
Dear Yuyax, I have a chance to buy a 1980s Japanese Focus bike. Naturally, I want to find out something about it but, as you say, they are a "mysterious brand"; there's practically nothing, they're not even listed on the various "Lists of Japanese Bicycles". You wrote the above in September 2009; I've just registered on Bike Forums today. I don't know what a "pm" is but I'm writing this QR (Quick Reply) to see if you can help in any way. Thank you.
