The first thing I did when I bought my folder was pull off the folding pedals. They were so floppy that they weren't comfortable to ride.

I'd try some of the pedals with break apart spindles (MKS?) However, for now I just installed a pair of my SPD pedals which seem small enough that it doesn't seem like I need the folders anyway.

If I could just remember where I put those folding pedals, I'd send them away
