Even better, I let my LBS handle it. The first 105 broke on a Monday, midday. They called Shimano, said it wore out at 15K miles in less than a year. Shimano decided I'd miss a few miles if they went through the normal process of the LBS shipping it, them examining it, and shipping a replacement. So Tuesday when the shop opened at 10:00 AM Fed Ex was waiting with a new shifter.
