The group is a "Slow Spokes" Meetup group, though I don't find anything slow about it! I just joined them for the 1st time last night. Go to meetup.com and do a search for "Slow Spokes" in Cary. They have beginner/D/C/B rides, though I would actually classify their ride paces as D/B/A. I was in the "D" group, of which was comprised of the 2 organizers and me. Everyone else was riding over 16mph. Last night 3 of us did the 17.4mi loop and everyone else (about 12 others) did a longer 22 or 23 mi loop.

Their rides always start from the parking lot near Wells Fargo Bank at 10050 Green Level Church Rd. They have a weekly Tues night ride and a Sunday pickup ride and a more advanced ride I think on Thurs evenings.
