Based strictly on the experiences of others that I've read on these forums, the ring spacing on cranksets isn't so precise as to require an exact match. There have been plenty of people who've used a 9-speed crankset in an otherwise 10-speed drivetrain or vice versa. Or a similar mix of 10-speed and 11-speed. So long as you stay within a generation or so, it'll probably be close enough.
