I bought them not sure if they would work, but I have a nice older steel bike that I want to set up as a light weight tourer. I thought I could go back to down tube friction shifting, got some sweet older Campi Nuvo Record levers for it, but 22 years of STI brifters have forever changed my standards. I already have the Ultegra 9 speed triple cranks on the bike. Old 32 hole Dura Ace 7400 hubs lying about, too.
