Yes. I definitely wear the helmet.
It turned out that predicted 43 was really 45 by the time I left. So, I ended up just wearing the legs and a windbreaker. No gloves or hat needed. Went well.
I really like helmet lights, headlight and taillight... I use a Vis360+.. If I had just one light this would be it.

I carry a big bottle of water and I drink it constantly while at work. I definitely don't want to run out of steam on the ride home. My son, who has autism, is waiting for me to get back home because HE wants to go out on a bike ride with me.
