I do my own regular maint. I like good service when i get into trouble, i want someone who knows more than i do and i am willing to pay for it when needed....most free life time service does not cover major work that I have seen, just minor stuff, tune-ups (minor) and you pay for the parts...when i do buy a bike i do not go looking for the killer deal, but I do want to pay a fair price. currently i have 4 bikes... one came from craigslist.. the other 3 were each from a different shop.
