Hi I'd like to know if I should take the chainguard off of my mongoose ledge 2.1 mountain bicycle. It snapped while I was cruising down a road. It is held by one bolt. Should I remove it or replace it? I looked online for a chainguard for this specific bicycle and couldn't find one. If I remove it, will anything change performance-wise?
