the weight of those is quite negligible. i could carry those things on my back. i carry my lock(s) on my person.

my road bike when i had it was 22 lbs.

i once had a 30-35+ commuter but have since sold it. it's great for getting around town, but for commuting, it was tough to get across the bridges quickly.
