To add to the above, I limit my intake off all grains. Yes, I will have pizza or a sub maybe once every two weeks, but I prepare for it and still suffer consequences. I refuse to buy into any type of diet. My own opinion, though.
I limit carbs and my wife has celiac disease... as such we do not have any glutenous food in the house save for a few things for our daughters (pasta) and they are aware they have to cook these foods in separate containers and clean up thoroughly.
I don't miss the bread and it does not bother me if I indulge in the odd treat like my aunt's baking which cannot be beaten.
