I still don't get it .

Latest encounter with ducks was on the way to work a few days ago. I commute on a MUP that meanders along a river. Lots of waterfowl in the area. I noticed a couple of mallard ducks up ahead to my right. Just as I drew even with them, another mallard decided to come in for a landing to join his friends. I had to brake relatively hard to avoid t-boning him .

P.S. This was not the first time something like this has happened, and it likely won't be the last.
