I don't know where the 'Centennial' Trail comes into this conversation (that's up north in Snohomish county or in Spokane) but the trail does indeed come to an end with a rather unspectacular view of Snoqualmie Falls as the overgrowth now blocks the view. However, it is possible to get up to the Snoqualmie Ridge from here by taking one of two unmarked dirt trails up the hill. They are mountain biking trails but well kept enough if you had a road bike you could easily push it up. They meet up with the housing development up top and once there you can drop into the back of the town of Snoqualmie and catch up with the SVT. It's not ideal but not horrible. I ride 32s. FWIW, I have done the same thing twice only in reverse order.

Let me know if you want more details.
