i live in Christchurch, New Zealand.
we had several earthquakes recently & the roads are munted, most days there are more orange cones, roadworks & diversions
it makes for an interesting commute.

i get the smug, self satisfied feeling as I cruise past motorists sitting in queues caused by above mentioned cones, very satisfying
