Any nice road bike in a more-or-less medium size won't weigh more than maybe 23 pounds. Few of even the really pricey ones will weigh less than 15 pounds. So yeah... not a big difference.

Like wine or coffee..... there are many differences that the devoted followers are very aware of.... and the novice maybe not so much.

My heaviest bike is about 25 pounds (with the rack and trunk).... and my lightest 18.8 pounds. They have many differences. The least of the differences is the weight.
