Your thinking too much into this, the 15mm hub is a standard & all have the same dimensions (15x100), the interface between the fork and axle is separate, and not many manufacturers make both.

The axle has different fitting, manufacturer dependant, Manitou uses a bayonet type connector, For RockShox (Maxle) and most others use a threaded QR type fitting. Forget the thread/connector spec, this (the axle) is part of the fork, not the hub, you get the axle when you buy the fork not the hub.

You can use any hub that is 15mm spec to fit onto any 15mm spec fork.

Boost 110 is a new standard, which increases the hub width by 10mm, this is a new spec, and if for 15x110mm hubs, but don't expect to see this till 2016 bikes are in the shops.
