Bikes: (2) ti TiCycles, 2007 w/ triple and 2011 fixed, 1979 Peter Mooney, ~1983 Trek 420 now fixed and ~1973 Raleigh Carlton Competition gravel grinder

Another two stepper. Used to two step down always but not since my head injury many years ago. And trifocals made down a lot scarier (but better than progressive). My last pair is bifocal and that is a real improvement. (Nearsighted so glasses off for close work is always an option.)

Recently I have been challenged with injuries and have had to do some one stepping. I find it a bigger exercise of my patience than cardio.

I just spent a month riding maybe one day a week, followed by a week-long conference I just got back from. Used the stairs a lot (though not exclusively) to the third and fourth floors at the hotel. Rode an easy 38 miles last night n the fix gear and it felt good.
