I've resisted integrated shifters up to now, but suddenly I liked the feel of them while test-riding a Shimano Tiagra-equipped bike. My question:

Do any of the competitors' brifters work pretty much that way, with the actual brake lever doing the downshifting rather than having two separate plastic levers for up and down? (For whatever silly reason, I really liked this detail.)
