You can use either 700c or 29er wheels. I recommend going with the 29er wheelset as I did. They are typically more durable and there are a lot more options for disc wheels without spending a ton of money. That being said I also recommend the Mavic Crossmax SL wheels that I have. They are flat out awesome!
