I was just going through some older cycling stuff I had in a shoebox, and I found the Cateye CC-6000 that came off of my Great-Uncle's Erickson road bike, hand built by Glen Erickson at R and E cycles in Seattle. I put in a new battery that I happened to have in a spare set of cycling lights, and it turned right on. Thanks to your discussion, it is now programmed and ready to run! Now I just need to find the wheel magnets, and it will be reading speed and mileage like it did just over 25 years ago! Thanks!
