Well. Honestly. You don't put that group on a bike for the best performance. The best performing triple vintage combo in my opinion is the Suntour cyclone/ Sugino AT set up.

Its like driving a 57 Chevy stock and expecting it to perform well. I set it up to be vintage/ period correct and gosh it looks cool doesn't it. The super Record had shifted well for what it is. The Rally is a little slower shift. Surprisingly the Super record front derailleur shifts well with the triple. Keep in mind that the granny isn't very small.. Its a 36/45/54. Happy building..lets see pics.
