What is wrong with a clean chain? My bike frames can get caked in mud, but I keep the drivetrains clean. Moving parts last longer if they are clean. Grit causes unnecessary wear and tear. I do judge people for having black, gunky chains.
Super squeaky as in hasn't ever been lubed.
