Literally am terrified of the thought of building up a bike by myself. I'm a tinkerer and can adjust brakes, install pedals and know how to and what to clean on my bike but more advanced stuff gives me fits. I'm terrible with dialing in the rear derailleur and worse on the front. That said, a lot of these frame options look awesome and the thought of building it the way I want it is intriguing. Is there a reasonable reason I should be talked out of pursuing a build on my own? I'd feel like a traitor taking all the parts to my LBS and asking them to take care of the build for me, but I'm certainly not above such a thing, either.
