Compact crankset with braze-on FD issues
I plan on replacing my 105 crankset with a Ritchey Compact Pro (50/34 instead of 53/39). I plan on putting a new BB, chain, and rear cassette on as well. My FD is a braze-on. Will I be able to lower it enough to accomodate the smaller diameter gear in front? I would like to avoid replacing the FD with a clamp-on if I can. Does anyone have any thoughts?
