I didn't look at your pics till now. Does look a little wonky. And no suggestions for riser bars since I have never owned any.
Are you new to bikes or what is your background? I found that sometimes when people are not used to riding they perceive it as uncomfortable. My roommate is just about my size and same proportions but he said my bike was too uncomfortable and he had me slam the seat post completely down so he could ride it. It was wack. He also thinks skinny saddles hurt and that they should be padded and like a foot wide.

Maybe you should go to a local bike shop and have them help you with the fit. Sounds like you need a lot of help and I'm sure they could provide that for you. They will have everything you need too.

And by lower handlebars, I think he means your handlebars need to be lower. Just a guess though...
