Don't like MTB bars in general though - that bike has been upgraded with North Road style bars, as has my "commuter" which is built on the foundation of an early 80s 12 speed. The change in bars made a huge improvement in both bike in my book.
Thanks for the info! I ordered a 10 degree 100mm stem and a flat bar, as well as some knock off ergon grips to get me started. Also got a cheap, but well reviewed saddle.
