Hi new to the boards. Haven't ridden in 15 years after spinal fusion surgery. Before that I was into road bikes. I wanted something simple and not too aggressive stance wise and no more than $500. I looked at all the fixie's but they just didn't seem near tough enough to slam around the streets of Venice. I almost ordered the BD Moto fat bike, but I think I'd want those tires with some gears. This thing is a perfect mix, got it at my local LBS (Helens) after they matched price. I've got no experience with mountain bikes or disc brakes, but they're awesome . Only complaints I have so far is there is no front wheel QR and the grips are a bit measly. Any recommendations? Put front and rear lights on, they actually give serious tickets for that here lol.
