Bikes: aggressive agreement is what I ride.

Off the bike today. Super duper A+ race this weekend; not sure what I'm going to do the rest of this week. I was planning to do something short like 4x3 Tues and 2x7 Weds. Thurs is off by necessity for travel. I hope I can do that little bit of intensity without exacerbating things.

My dad was a doctor and he would joke that whenever a patient said "it couldn't have happened at a worse time, doc" that he would refer them to a psychologist...
my sore doctor advised treating it like road rash. keep it covered with neosporin full time until it's healed. if riding, use a layer of neosporin then chamois cream, and don't make it worse. sleep with neosporin on it, etc.

from your description it sounds like an abscess or junk pimple more than a friction sore, so hopefully it's just a puncture you're letting seal up. good luck!
