Aha, that makes sense. I heard him say 58x18 while watching too. I counted pedal strokes for a minute and thought he hit about 104/105. With that cadence and a 58x18, he'd go about 42kmh. 105rpm in a 58x14, however, is 54.24, so bang on.


100+rpm, constant, for an hour. Hurts my legs just to think about it.
