buy whole cassette or replace worn cog?

I'm using a 10sp 105 12-27 cassette for commuting on flat road, and very rarely use the bottom 3 cogs and the top 3 cogs, so after about 6 months pretty much only worn the 16t and 17t cog
what would be the ideal cost saving method here
a 10 speed 105 5700 12-27 cassette for $35
or a 16/17t for $16?
or just buy a whole new cassette, then what should I do with 6 shiny immaculate cogs from the old one?
