I tried a helmet Mirror for the first time this morning and so far I'm not a big fan. I have to focus to see in the Mirror and I feel that it take my attention away from the road ahead longer than when I just check quickly over my shoulder.
I wasn't a fan at first, either. Since I wear glasses with lenses that were fashionably small at one point, the mirror is mostly good for detecting movement behind me. But I do like it now, and notice myself missing it when walking through a parking lot.
